Electric Vibe
For the Fall/Winter 2024 season I’ve proposed a deep dive into the pulsating rhythm of the city after dark with “Electric Vibe”, a collection that captures the vibrant energy of nocturnal life. Inspired by the neon glow of fluorescent lights, the unspoken passions that come alive in darkness, and the electrifying spirit of rave culture, this collection reimagines fall and winter fashion with a bold fusion of contrasts.

“Electric Vibe” draws heavily from the daring aesthetics of rave fashion and the bold styles worn by festival-goers at electronic music festivals. The collection captures the vivid colors, edgy silhouettes, and high-energy vibe of these events, integrating them into wearable, everyday designs. In addition to that, “Electric Vibe” intertwines summer's daring trends with a nostalgic nod to the sleek silhouettes of the 2000s (the y2k fashion trend).
Super low waists, neon accents, daring transparencies, and dynamic cutouts take center stage, challenging the traditional boundaries of cold-weather fashion. The collection's edgy aesthetic reflects the audacious spirit of urban nights, where individuality shines brightest, but while the pieces are modern and vibrant, they’re crafted to seamlessly transition into daily wardrobes, blending practicality with boundary-pushing style.

Central to the collection are two standout prints:
Geometric Psychedelia—a vibrant, digital print that's I’ve designed myself, inspired by psychedelic art, evoking the pulsating visuals and hypnotic beats of the rave scene.
Organic Flow—a hand-dyed tie-dye print reminiscent of natural textures like tree bark, grounding the collection in nature’s timeless beauty, in a vibrant shade of lime green.
These prints juxtapose the contemporary and the organic, symbolizing the need to harmonize modernity with nature, even amidst the whirlwind of urban living.
In conclusion, “Electric Vibe” explores a world where the vibrancy of summer meets the depth of fall, the allure of the city blends with the serenity of nature, and fashion becomes a celebration of electronic music’s energy, transformed into a colorful, wearable, and utterly modern aesthetic.
Look 1
For the first look, I’ve paired a body made out of baby pink ribbed jersey with bell-bottomed pants and short length jacket. The body features cutouts on the waist and hip area, as well as a chest insert made of glittery, semi-transparent tulle fabric. The pants are made of white cotton denim fabric that I’ve tie-dyed with lime green fabric dye, a color that ended up as being very popular in the summer of 2024. The pants are low waisted and come with a belt made of the same dyed fabric, reminiscent of the y2k fashion. As for the jacket, I’ve used the same cotton denim fabric, but this time it is digitally printed with the design I’ve created for this collection. The jacket has bell-bottomed sleeves to compliment the pants, metallic zippers for both the closure and bottom of the jacket, and an insert of cotton fabric that features hand stitched patterns present on all the other outfits.
Look 2
The second look is composed of a mid length dress and bomber jacket. The dress is made of digitally printed tulle fabric with a cutout on the side and string gathers to adjust the size of the cutout. The bust area is made out of the same baby pink jersey used for look 1, with tulle inserts and strings that tie behind the neck, Because the dress is quite transparent, I’ve also designed a pair of high waisted underwear made of the same glittery, semi-transparent tulle. As for the bomber jacket, the item is made of navy cotton fabric that has little splotches of green and pink waved throughout the fabric. The jacket features dropped shoulders, a high neckline that is ribbed along with the cuffs and hem, and the same hand stitched patterns as the other outfits.
Look 3
As for the last look, it’s a variation of the first one, with a long sleeved cropped shirt instead of the body, and knee length pants with side cutouts made of the same cotton denim fabric used before. The look is completed by a parka style jacket made of the same cotton denim fabric, with metallic zippers on the side, dropped shoulders, and inserts of navy cotton fabric with hand stitched patterns on the shoulder area.
